Duck stamps are valid for hunting permits but Junior Duck stamps are not. Neither are valid for postage.
On June 24, 2022, the U.S. Department of the Interior issued the Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Junior Duck stamp for the 2022-2023 waterfowl hunting season.
The stamp goes on sale nationwide June 24, 2022, and is valid through June 30, 2023.
Young artists in grades K-12th compete each year with the waterfowl entries in the Junior Duck Stamp Program. This is the 30th stamp in this series and features a painting of a Green-winged Teal by Madison Grimm of South Dakota.
