Commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Endangered Species Act with these Endangered Species Digital Color Postmark First Day Covers. The set of 20 #6 ¾ envelopes are affixed with a Forever® stamp cancelled with an official First Day of Issue Postmark.

The colorful and charismatic endangered creatures presented on the stamps are selected from among more than 13,000 in Joel Sartore’s “Photo Ark” project, the photographer’s enduring global mission to document as many animal species as possible. The striking studio-style portraits give vivid immediacy to the uniqueness of each individual pictured and to the species it represents.

The postmark includes the stamp’s name and a colorful graphic depicting an amphibian. The date and location of stamp issuance are also included: May 19, 2023, Wall, SD 57790.
