Premium Forwarding Service Local™ (PFS-Local™) is a mail forwarding option for eligible business and residential PO Box™ customers (excludes no-fee Group E PO Boxes). Your PO Box mail is packed up at the Post Office and delivered to a local street address serviced by the same Post Office.

  • Premium Forwarding Service Local™ (PFS-Local™) is a mail forwarding option for eligible business and residential PO Box™ customers (excludes no-fee Group E PO Boxes). Your PO Box mail is packed up at the Post Office and delivered to a local street address serviced by the same Post Office.

    PFS-Local delivery is available Monday through Saturday, excluding postal holidays. You choose how often you would like your PO Box mail forwarded: daily, once a week, twice a week, three times a week, or monthly.

    Price includes a $24.10 annual enrollment fee plus a $26.20 container fee, which covers one (1) container of mail per delivery day. If the Post Office needs to use more than 1 container based on mail volume for any delivery day and all containers are used before the service end date, you will be required to purchase additional containers. Refunds may be available for any unused containers at the end of the service period subject to applicable restrictions. The enrollment fee is non-refundable, unless your request to establish the PFS-Local service is denied.

    You may discontinue the service at any time and seek refunds for unused containers by emailing PFS-Local@usps.gov. For details and restrictions, see Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual § 508.7.4 and the Terms and Conditions.

    Residential customers: Once you’ve completed your purchase on The Postal Store®, you will receive a confirmation page and an email with instruction on where to enter additional details, such as your service start date, PO Box number, and forwarding address.

    Business customers: Purchase PFS-Local online at Business Customer Gateway.

  • Price includes an annual enrollment fee and a per container shipment fee. Email notifications are sent with tracking details on incoming shipments, when there is no mail to forward, and when there are order cancellations.

  • The Postal Store® ships all in-stock orders with USPS Tracking® service. Please allow 3-5 business days for in-stock items to be shipped with Standard Shipping, or 1-2 business days for in-stock orders to be shipped with Priority Mail Express® service.

    Pre- or Back-Ordered Items
    If your order contains pre- or back-ordered items, those items will ship separately when all pre- or back-ordered items are available.

    To view your order status and tracking information, sign in to your USPS.com® account, go to "Activity History", and select your order number.

    The Postal Store® cannot accept orders for shipment outside the United States, but we do ship to APO/FPO/DPO addresses and U.S. territories.

    Stamp & Philatelic Orders
    All stamp and philatelic orders are charged a $1.70 handling fee on domestic orders up to $50.00, and $2.35 if the order is greater than $50.00. These fixed handling fees apply to only the portion of the order total that includes stamp and/or philatelic items.

    Retail Items
    A retail item is any product that does not include a stamp or a form of postage. If your order includes retail items, we will add a shipping charge to the order based on the weight of the retail items and the “ship to” ZIP Code™. All in-stock retail items will ship within 5–7 business days.

    Personalized Stamped Stationery
    All Personalized Stamped Stationery items are charged Priority Mail Flat Rate® pricing, depending on how many boxes are ordered, and should be shipped within 5–7 business days.
